can you tell me what is the pattern you have at the top of your website. I love all the thistle in this pattern.

The pattern is Lotus Flower. It can be seen fully by clicking on the name on the left side bar under “Various Publishers”.

Missrayne,
Thanks so much! Finished the charts (two versions) and posted the pdf to the Laceknitters Yahoo Group. I think the moderator has to approve it. Will send you the pdf in two formats, 1 for US Letter Paper Size, the other in A4 (European) Paper Size.

Hello! I love your blog. I’m just getting into lace knitting and have had a book of Neibling doilies for Christmas. What needle size and cotton count would you recommend for Neiblings? I’m in the UK in case that’s relevant.
Happy new year.

Chris,
Short answer: Needles metric size 2.0 mm (US Size 0), thread (US Size 20), don’t know what UK thread sizes are. Best recommendation I can think of is to check Ravelry for your specific chosen pattern to see what others used.

Doilyhead, love this site. I have purchased patterns from here and love them. I have made several. I absolutely love Neibling. He was a genius. Love doing his patterns. They are so challenging and satisfying to accomplish. Plan on doing many more. Thank you so much.

Thanks Keith, but where are your pics! ;-) Plan to publish at least five more, then hope to focus more on adapting them for other items, mostly apparel, some hats and a curtain or two that also be knitted as afghans.

Hi! I’m knitting FDA 565 and love it! It looks great and has been fun to knit. I just realized that at round 80 I’m knitting 8 repeats and not 16 the way the pattern says. I’m fine, don’t need anything, but I thought you might like to know.
