Hi!! I finally found this pattern! Please, could you tell me if this is too difficult to knit for someone who has never knitted lace before?
Thank you! Christina

Christina,
I think that you should be able to work the cloth if you:
(1) Cast on using two 16-inch circulars and knit with the third, and
(2) Use the written instructions,
(3) After each written pattern line look at the corresponding chart line to see how the stitch symbols are aligned above those in the chart line below,
(4) When the number of stitches on the needles becomes greater than, say 35, insert markers at the end of each repeat so that it will be easier to resume after an interruption.
It also helps that you never have to turn the work around, that is, the right side will always be facing you. Step (3) above will help you to make sure you work the correct stitches in the round below.
Hope that encourages you at least somewhat — brave knitter! ;-)

I loved this pattern. It was so easy to follow. Just don’t use Addi lace needles with brass tips–the tarnish came off on my white cotton no matter how well I cleaned them.

Diane,
Aaaaargh! (About the tarnishing — Folks, you are hereby warned!)
But glad you enjoyed working the pattern… Will happily post here any pics you send (as encouragement/”payment”, you would receive a free pattern of your choice…)

Hi Glenda
I’m on row 41 and it says that I should have 39 and I always end up with 40 sts.
The only thing I can figure is the first sts is put in with the last sk2p.

m+1 means “slip last stitch of previous round to left needle, begin pattern.” I will resend you the pdf with the addition to the Key To Symbols tomorrow.
