Nieblings Knitted From The Outside In!

When I first saw the chart for the Tricot d’Art doily in the photo immediately below left, I thought it was upside down! ;-) Of course, after actually reading the chart, was disabused of the notion that the center of Niebling’s Trollblume was his only pattern knitted from the outside in. I then noticed the Erikas 603 patterns, of which the Model E might become a beret, but can’t decide on a border yet, so. As for the photo immediately below right, choosing a nice border for it is also a challenge for another day, or one of you! Lastly, casting on the largest of the Erikas requires 880 stitches! Across 4 needles, that would be 220 for each.
